I Own a THOMSON 44'' RP TV, combined with a Samsung DVD-611 Player. When watching tv channels everything is ok, when i switch to DVD (Connected via scart, RGB) things are not so good, i.e. titles...or subtitles are very bright, detail is bad, and contrast changes all the time when bright stuff appear. I Dont get than on TV Channels...and im wondering, is it the player? its 2 years old.... if i go and buy a cheap Brand Model (i.e. SONY) will i have better image resaults?

MIGHT be a result of the cable connectors...

BEST to get HQ-Type cables from any Radio Shack to cure the problem...
