I don't know if it's the settings on my computer or a snag in the ad itself, but I have to refresh my browser 2-3 times to get the homepage to come up.

it's easy to avoid looking at the ads...just don't visit dvdtown's main page. bookmark stuff like dvdtown.com/reviews/ or dvdtown.com/messageboard/. (Y)

I have IE7, Firefox, Opera, Netscape, and Avant browsers and tried them all with our home page this morning. No trouble with any of them.

We run IE6 at work, which is where most of my browsing takes place. I readjusted some things within my browser and it seems to have taken care of it. Thanks!!
By the way, John, my upconvert player is sweet. Before, I was running a standard player on a good CRT (JVC D-Series 27") that wasn't progressive scan or anything. Now, I'm running the Toshiba upconvert with HDMI to a Toshiba 50" DLP 720p. To me, the difference is quite noticable. Which, you said it would be a good stop gap until I go true HD. You were right!!!

cmmoore82,
Sometimes it doesn't take a lot of money to effect an improvement in picture or sound, just the right investment. I'm happy for you.
