I would just like to respond to the news post on today's main page. I work in home theatre sales and design and am a dealer for Onkyo products. I have talked to my district and regional managers and they both agree that yes, Onkyo have slated an HD DVD player for release this year, however, that may change to a Blu-ray Player and/or an HD DVD. I will gladly let you know when i receive further details.

I based my news post on an article in WHAT HIFI magazine. They recently visited their HQ in Asia.
