Issues with the Samsung HLR6187W. The LG Dual format player will not transmit in 1080P to this TV. make a note!

I didn't realize the LG BH100 dual-format player would output an HD-DVD signal at 1080p to any TV. The company was going to send me one for review, but they never came through. Maybe I'm better off?
