Henning,

What's with the new logo? I feel like it's yelling at me! It's too big and bulky almost like a giant stamp. I don't know what you're going for with that, but it just doesn't fit the site. Get rid of it ASAP.

Henning,

It is a tad heavy. Steve

Tim,

We all used to write DVDTown.com as the site's name, but when he started working on the current (so-called) "upgrade", Henning told the staff that he wanted to write everything in caps. I told him that all caps looks like shouting, and his response was that we should be proud to shout the site's name.

Then, I left. :-)

it's funny...the all caps coupled with the city skyline makes this website look like an offshoot of DONALD TRUMP'S THE APPRENTICE.

Eddie,

That's too funny! It does look like the Apprentice logo! lol :-D

Big ol' caps like that work fine if it's for something like a Commercial Construction Company or advertising for some sporting event, but for a site that is for entertainment and techy stuff it really looks too loud and out of place. Oh well, what do I know, I've only been doing graphics all my life. lol :-D

I loved the old design. I'm not going to lie, I do love the "Where Movies Matter" tag though. However, I just DON'T LIKE the DVDTOWN part. I was partial to the swirl design...and since I'm a graphic designer, I feel like I can say that...other wise I'd have just kept quiet. The site still looks great, and I do like some of the changes. I'm just not diggin' that new DVDTOWN.com part. Sorry!

If it doesn’t fit, you must acquit.
