The Dark Knight - Teaser

Now officially released. Wow. Batman Begins is one of my favorite super hero movies of all time. The mood of the film is amazing.

The teaser doesn't show anything but again sets a mood that we can only hope will stay in the final movie.

It's definitely nice to see it getting closer...I saw on my local news yesterday that they were shooting an old Brach's building getting blown up for the film - I forget where it was, but it was quite the series of bangs!

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the new Batman movie but that trailer was lame!

Considering it's all audio it sounds ok but I need to see some footage. Hopefully it's at least on par with Batman Begins. I'm most curious to see how Heath Ledger pulls off the joker role. Will he be any better than Nicholson?

I thought this teaser was awesome. It does exactly what a Teaser is supposed to do...make you want to see the Trailer. :-)

agreed. a teaser is just supposed to wet your whistle. and they did a great job of that.

From what I hear Ledger's portrayal is going for a more dark and serious approach. When asked about it Nolan seemed like he was at a loss of words for Ledger's performance.

How many people here live near an IMAX theater?

Fortunately I live in Baltimore and a 20 minute subway train ride to the theater.

I live in downtown Toronto so I have a couple close to me.

By the way...apparently this is the poster for The Dark Knight...

Excited about this movie, but not as much as Indiana Jones, but specially, Wall-e...and Nicholson as the Joker? Fabulous. If Heather did his thing, well, he was supposed to, he is supposed to be a good actor.

Went to see Fred Clause (family thing for the Holidays mind you), and snuck in to Legend just to see the second teaser before our movie started.

I had my doubts about Ledger as the Clown Prince, but all those doubts are now gone. Michael Caine was right, Ledger is going to be amazing.

I saw The Trailer before I am Legend. GREAT STUFF. Batman was always my least favorite hero, but never mind, that is long gone. Ledger looks ........ .

WHY SO SERIOUS?

I'm sold. Loved the first one and this one looks to take it to the next level.
