For me games has to work in MP. This is where I spend most of my time. I like to deal with humans
Halo 3 works very well in MP and really shines with 16 players in one map with vehicles and vast landscapes.
For me it is the best First Person Shooter so far. I only see Call of Duty 4 mess with this. The MP Beta was truly awesome.

i read in various websites that the game AI in normal mode had been reduced because of the wide audience, and that for more advanced players to increase it a notch and asume is normal mode.
i think is true, since i know people that just wanted to play the game, but not compete, achieve, or have nothing to brag about.. and basically just finish it.
increasing the difficulty changes alot of things i noticed... and live is just crazy, everyone on my friends list (about 30) when i log on .. just shows them playing halo3. cam features etc. is pretty cool, woke up the onlinecompetitor in me... which i had not taken seriously lately.
i agree though, there are better single players out there, but is great overall, single multy, coop.. the vehicles etc... alright, time to go play!

They said any Halo vet should be playing at least on Heroic because of the dumbed down AI on normal.
I've gone through heroic on my own, and legendary with 3 friends and its no breeze. Normal however seemed like Easy (when I went and collected the skulls).
Some pics of me in multi.

Microsoft Game Studios: We're in the money!
Posted by Marc Saltzman at 2:59 PM | E-mail this post
Holy sales, Batman. Microsoft Game Studios' mega-popular sci-fi shooter, Halo 3, for the Xbox 360, has generated more than US $300 million dollars in revenues worldwide its first week. The game debuted on September 25 and sells for $60.
No wonder Bill Gates seems so happy about the game: "Halo is truly a cultural phenomenon, and the launch of Halo 3 is an important milestone for Xbox 360 and for video games as entertainment and as an art form," said Bill Gates, chairman of Microsoft.
"'Halo 3' embodies our vision for the future of entertainment, where some of the world's greatest creative minds will deliver a new generation of interactive storytelling."
It's also a hit online as more than 2.7 million gamers have already played Halo 3 on Xbox Live in the first week, representing nearly one-third of the 7 million Xbox LIVE members worldwide.
