"I feel the need...the need for speed!"

Tom Cruise and Anthony Edwards said it in Top Gun and we think it everyday.

So, from today we have moved to a more powerful server setup. Multiple processors and cores, several gigabytes of ram and optimized code is part of the package.

We hope you can feel it at your end.

We hope to have exciting new features in the My Town department in early November so stay tuned!

Thanks,

The Editor-in-chief

At this end, the site feels about ten times faster than before. Thanks much for the upgrade.

I have noticed that now I get a message reply in my email inbox everytime someone responds to a topic that I post a response to. I want to stop this from occurring since it will fill up my inbox. The message says that this option can be changed by accessing my account and changing my settings. I have looked everywhere for how to change these settings under my account and cannot find it. I also tried to email this site about the problem and did not see an email address for contacting purposes. Any ideas on how to fix this?

A more logical approach will be incorporated in the next my town update.

Yes, at the top of each thread of messages, there are two choices: "Reply to This Topic" and then either "Monitor This Topic" or "Stop Monitoring This Topic." So if you want to be selective about which topic threads you wish to monitor via e-mail, you can do it here, too.
