Ok I mentioned this in a couple of threads. Is anyone else NOT seeing the threads listed on the right side of the page? bring them back!
EDIT: Ok I found the list of threads but they are way on the bottom of the right side now. It's as if they are no longer aligned at the top.

I'm using IE 6 at work and I believe the same at home. I can't upgrade the one at work though....they got us LOCKED DOWN over here.

I see the issue in IE6 and Opera has an issue with the left side. All other browsers look fine. I assume Henning and crew are using tabless layouts, which tend to make this issues happen. Tabless layouts are all the new hype for web design, and in my experience they're a freaking nightmare of issues (just because it's new does not make it better. When I design I use what works and not what's new so I can look like a big showoff). The argument is they are supposed to render faster, however, if you have high-speed connection you really won't notice a difference. Nevertheless, hype is all it really is. You can use CSS to create a class for tables and use a property for that class called "table-layout" which will cause the tables to render faster.

I agree Tim. New and "improved" software is great when it works but sometimes simple is the best policy, especially when it comes to websites. Keep it simple guys!

I will try this out IE 6 as soon as possible and try to correct the problem.
However, I would recomend upgrading your browser to at least IE 7. Here is what Microsoft themselves writes:

For me, the most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.

Henning I can upgrade it at home but at work I'm outta luck. We're stuck with IE 6 for a while and most of the time I'm on this site is at work. It's no biggie but if you can fix it great. There may be other casual surfers that may not post but experience the issue as well.

Don't feel bad Falcon, I do a lot of design work for huge corporations -- many of them popular high-tech companys -- and they are all still using IE6. Go figure?

Ya but as a site designer you should make sure the site is visible on all platforms or as many as possible. People shouldn't have to update their browsers to view your site. What about all those people still using dialup? There are people that have no idea how to even update their browsers.

Falcon,
I agree but my answer would also be, "Why must we be surrounded by freakin' idiots?!?!?"
