New Line announced over a year ago that they would be releasing "LOTR." It's just that they are a relatively small studio, and they wanted to let the HD industry grow a little before they waded into the fray. They should be issuing it in HD DVD and Blu-ray in the first or second quarter of '08, and from what I've read the masters are all ready to go.
