How do I change my account so that the default is to not moniter the threads? If that's not possible, can I change my listed email addy so that the mass of thread monitering emails goes to that address?

Bruce,

Go to "My Collection" and under "Account Settings" I believe the last item allows you to monitor or not monitor ALL threads to which you contributed. Or you can monitor individual threads here at the Message Board at the top of each thread.

Thanks John, but 'my collection' (at the top right) isn't enabled for clicking. Also, I see nothing under 'my town' to go to 'my collection' or to 'account settings'. Maybe it's under construction?

Bruce,

You're telling me after all this time that you can't access "My Collection" or "My Wish List" or "My Profile" or "My Account"? These features have been enabled for months. What browser are you using? The site is optimized for the latest Firefox, but these functions should work perfectly well using IE7, Opera, or Avant (the browser I'm using right now as I write this). Are you logged in properly? (Well, you should be if you are able to use the Message Board.)

Anyway, try the latest version of another browser, esp. Firefox. They're free, so you have nothing to lose. Then check back with us.

John,
I used Firefox and it enabled me to click on 'my collection'. Explorer and Yahoo browsers didn't let me. I guess the latest of those are needed with your interface. Anyway, I got it. Thanks again.

Bruce,

As I said above, the site is optimized for Firefox. But if you want to see it unfold really fast, try Avant (but be sure to have IE7 first).

I just bought a new laptop today with Vista. Fortunately it works with the Explorer browser on it.
