Sears does keep a nice crapper.

My local K Mart gutted out a section and put in a large appliance center [ala Sears] so they're definitely in transition.

As for movies, I have bought one or two from them...I've yet to see any high def discs in the stores yet, though.

I'm glad they made a choice.

You should have got her number and then did a little pushing later that night.

For me, Sears is a pass-by store. What I mean is when you go to the mall and you end up parking by Sears, you walk through Sears quickly to get to the main part of the mall.

holy crap your inside my head!!

Sears electronics department works on comission, so she was pushing Blu Ray because of that.

Actually I work at Sears Electronics during Christmas. You make nothing on Blu Ray players like maybe 4 dollars per unit sold. You make more money selling a Monster HDMI cable. LOL

Priceless gems of reality by Tim...

Right on the money Tim!
- There are no DVDs worth buying at Sears, as all are cheaper at BB, CC, and Amazon.

Now, while rivals Suncoast, Borders, and Barnes & Noble also sell mainly at the full list price, these three have an amazing selection of titles (especially hard-to-find music DVDs), and I don't mind supporting them since BB, CC don't stock near the number of titles as these other retailers. Yes, they often just have "one copy only" in stock, but at least it's IN STOCK, as BB and CC pail in comparison to the large selection of Suncoast, Borders, and B&N.

And Tim, I do the same thing at my local Sears (an extention of the main mall), by parking in their parking lot, which saves time and steps by cutting thru their store into the mall's side entrance (as the Sears opens up into the mall). I occasionally buy from Sears (sale items), but here in the Houston area we no longer have any K-Marts (all were closed in 2005).

I am all about Fry's Electronics. They have the best selection of HD DVDs and most of the catalog titles are all $19.99!
