Now I know why the whole meaning of GI-JOE has been changed and watered down! Clooney is involved...what a dooche!

Tim and Taco are probably right: Clooney is probably much too good for this material.

I'm pretty sure Taco was insulting Clooney, however I agree that I can't imagine him in this film. He's an actor I used to have absolutely no respect for, but that changed somewhat with Syriana and Good Night & Good Luck, still I have to say that I still haven't been able to learn to like him. He made two too many Ocean's films, for one.

Clooney is a great actor (usually), but I agree with the others here, in that it's hard to imagine him playing this role... but he is a great actor, so, perhaps? And IF the script is good... [probably not though].

I just saw him tonight in "Michael Clayton" (the second time I've seen the film, actually). Oscar-caliber performance.
