If PS3s will go under $100, then the war will continue... Otherwise I think our price point has already been made.. at least until it goes even lower. Why in the world would I shell out $399 or more for an HD player, when I can get one with the same resolution and codec support for $98???
I spend a lot of money on toys, but I never overpay like it's some badge of honor to wear.

"I don't think anyone is getting banned or forums being closed on this site anytime soon. There has been serious boost in activity here (since I showed up ) and the owners are getting more revenue..." --BluCanada
I wouldn't count on it, and I especially wouldn't gloat about it. The few new people who recently joined in the format debate here at the Message Board are hardly bringing us "more revenue." If anything, the constant bickering on both sides is probably turning away a lot of old readers.

bubblebathgirl, still an IDIOT. Your stats don't mean squat once Walmart starts selling $150 hd-dvd players for regular price.
BLU RAY IS DEAD if you think ANYONE will spill $400 for a dead technology. Only the PS3 system will apply the format (and nowhere else) if the price does not match those of the HD-DVD's.
Wow. You're pathetic, and still a bigot on the subject. You neither understand economics nor comprehend MARKETING REALITY. Just a Sony fanboy relying on EGO and brandname.
I like this thread... lotsa 14-year old morons who rides on Sony's expensive ego.

Just as I thought all along about bubblebathgirl, she is a troll. Pulling info from bluray.com is a complete pile of crap. That is about as big of a FUD site as they come. This proves my suspicion that you are a blo-ray plant.

Thank you John. I am now officially signing off of this thread. I've had enough of this nonsense.
