So you think $99 players to reach mass market appeal is bad? What about the $999 50" Plasma they had the same sale. Must mean 50" flat panel TVs are doomed!

Why are posting links about advantages of Blu-Ray? Trying to changed the subject. Looks like someone realized the dead horse they were beating is now a bloody pulp. Move on the to the next carcass.

It doesn't burn, because Disney did a two for one sale that week... and I'm not mad about it - because 90,000 people are getting 5 free movies in the next month... and that will burn eh???

Transformers broke the HD 2 or 3 day sale record... Eat those numbers. No matter how many 2-for-1 movies Disney sold.

shawnwc, you keep talking about the future because you can't deal with the present. The present stats say Blu-ray is winning. I know you're jealous, and it hurts ... but that's what happens sometimes ... try to be mature and just deal with it instead of displaying your anger in a public forum.

And talk about what-if'ing and speculation...

2:1 indicating BR won (for the 3rd time), is total speculation and what-if'ing... What i do know as a what-if, is that if you offer HD players for $98 - THEY SELL OUT.

And the price point is now set...

shawnwc, you are clearly mistaken ... like I said before ... show me where you can get a 1080p HD DVD player for the price you state ... show me where the general public can easily get such a thing ...

you can't ... that's why you don't ... your speculation is just that .. speculation ... try dealing with reality ... HD DVD is losing, the stats say so.

Cellien, you wouldn't be responding to my posts if they didn't bother you ... if you didn't care ... yet you continue to respond so it's obvious that you do care ... and the fact that you are in a losing position leads one to conclude that you must be jealous of those in a winning position.

Back to the point of this thread, the 90K supposed HD DVD sales ... they haven't changed the stats one bit, Blu-ray maintains it's 1.7:1 lead. I love it.

You can actually highlight it, and cut-paste it... It seems to visually disappear, but it's there.

That PS3 brower not working so great?

I'm using Firefox, and you can't highlight the whole thing ... just put in the url tags next time ... sheesh.
