I love all the shit bubbles is spewing into the forum, someone buy bubbles some toilet paper (Tim, no pictures please)
anyways, I love the stats she links to at DVD Empire, 2:1, 2:1, 2:1.....
what does it say?
If you look at the curve, BluRay has dropped from a 70% sales ratio to a 55%. It has consistently been slipping since September. The other way to look at it is 29% on HD DVD has gone up to 44%.
Hmm....55 : 44 sure sounds like 2:1....
If the numbers keep changing at this rate, HD DVD will be outselling Bluray at a 2:1 by spring. Which is very likely with how players are dropping in prices.

IT'S A ROBOT!
Trends change, obviously bubblebabblegirl isn't experienced enough to know this. I recommend everyone to ignore him if you can look past the wall of links about ratios that make no difference when all said and done.
Funny thing is that all of us HD-DVD owners understand the market may change at any given moment. Unlike these Sony diehard fanboys, we understand that it's anyones game right now. HD movie sales account for nearly no percentage of overall movie sales. It's obvious any numbers DO NOT reflect the average consumer, the true dictator of who will win the war.
Another funny point is that most current HD-DVD owners invested very small sums of money to get into the HD market, while Blu-Ray owners put substantially more in for the same experience.. which is obvious why they are so rabid and bitter. What if HD-DVD lost.. oh well, I was out $99. If Blu-Ray lost, you're out, at minimum, $400. That explains a lot when it comes to these fanatical Blu-ray fans that troll and get forums shut down.

There's Babbles with that "fire sale" phrase again.... Heh. Even with the PS3 on a $399 fire sale I won't be buying one.

Keeping hoping BR kids. If you really weren't worried - you'd stop trolling THIS topic. Fact is when the HD-DVD players hit $98, all the BR supporters were like doh!
