dguisinger, and example of your rudeness is telling me to get a life ... how would you feel if I told you I was in a wheel chair and was terminally ill?
You don't know anything about me ... so please don't toss around comments like that ... you never know who you're insulting.

Bubble,
Now, you're simply lying. Anybody can go to DVD Empire and see the figures. Add up the Blu-ray margin over HD DVD month by month for the first eleven months of this year and then divide by eleven. You get 56.75% for Blu-ray and 43.25% for HD DVD. That even more in favor of HD DVD than my 3:2 margin count.
As I keep saying, a troll, plain and simple. And he/she will continue to come back and troll with response after response until the editor finally bans him/her.

Puccio, how do we notify the editor about bubblebath? Normally I don't go this far, but this person, aside from their format choice, is quite annoying.

Sony CEO sees 'stalemate' in disc fight
The head of Sony Corp., Howard Stringer, said Thursday that the Blu-ray disc format the company has developed as the successor to the DVD is in a "stalemate" with the competing HD DVD format, chiefly backed by Toshiba Corp. and Microsoft Corp.
"It's a difficult fight," said Stringer

Transformers outsells Spiderman 3 on HD and DVD
The numbers are finally in for Spiderman 3 on Blu-Ray and DVD and both have fallen short of Transformers. Spiderman 3 was the best selling Blu-Ray title to date, selling 130,000 copies within the first six days. However, Transformers managed to sell 190,000 on HD DVD. This number has been disputed by Blu-Ray fanatics, but with no proof to back it up and Paramount states that they have rechecked their numbers and got the same results. On DVD Spiderman 3 managed to get somewhere between 4-5 million, (Sony seemed a little more reluctant to reveal this number), where Transformers sold 8.3 million.

bubble,
Unlike some people, I'd rather do things (like think) for myself rather than be talked into something by a salesperson. As I said, add up the numbers yourself (DVD Empire is not counting the first week of this month and neither, conveniently, are you). My numbers are up-the-minute. But not even counting this month, the margin for Blu-ray is much closer to 3:2 than 2:1, and you know it. That's why I am convinced you are a troll (and a shill).
cellien,
The editor has not listed his e-mail address since the site upgrade. I don't know why. However, if anyone has any complaints, criticisms, or concerns for the editor, send them to me and I'll pass them along. I list my e-mail address in my profile.

If I get banned then that just shows that I was right all along about this being an HD DVD biased site that can't handle facts that aren't in their favor.
Either way I'm happy.
