Ocean's Thirteen (and Trilogy on HD DVD)

I was looking forward to the trilogy in high definition, but between the bad buzz about the German import (Ocean's Thirteen HD DVD) and the rather subpar video rating from John on the standard dvd, I haven't pulled the trigger on ordering it yet.

Looking forward to seeing how the other two movies stack up in the PQ department.

So am I. In fairness to the picture quality, though, I did say that in SD it probably looked close to what the director intended (which I didn't care for). Anyway, wait until they're out on high-def and then read a few reviews. WB should be sending them out shortly for review.

i need to re-watch this movie.

I'm gonna be ordering it from Amazon on Bluray. I can't wait to finally have all 3 movies in HIDEF!

Thirteen was indeed disappointing.

I checked out a few scenes in Eleven though and it looked fantastic.

Have yet to explore Twelve.

I checked out Oceans 13 last night on HD DVD and it looked really good. There's intentional graininess there like John stated but it looked really good in hi-definition.
