Another HD DVD major release (Shrek the Third) another Blu-ray bogo deal. Sony is getting too predictable.

haha, funny... and predictable, can't blame them though is making the number-trolls happy. plus whoever has a player is probably taking advantage of this. if i had one i would pick some movies for my gf. cause i dont like many of those for myself. we deserve some HDDVD BOGO deals

I'm sure HD DVD will be having BOGO sales ... just like I'm sure Blu-ray will be dropping it's prices to compete with the HD DVD player prices ...

Good for us.

At least you guys are finally starting to get it That's why sales figures are not to be taken seriously. Keep in mind these "stats" are used more for swindling consumers, studios know whats really going on.

Well I wouldn't go so far as to say one should not take any value in sales figures ... I think they should be taken into consideration along with a lot of other factors.
