In fairness, some of those awful titles ("Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium," "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants," etc.) came from the best-selling books on which they're based.
How about my favorite awful title for the worst awful movie: "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things." There's really something magical about the sheer awfulness of that title. I love it.

By far the worst of all time: JAWS 4. What does Ma Brodie do to avoid the shark? She goes to the Bahamas. I think that's a little drastic, but, hey, I try not to judge. Then the shark not only follows her to the Bahamas, but the shark GETS THERE FIRST. Yes, ladies and gentlemen sharks now travel faster than airplanes AND they know the English language AND they can hear what we are saying from miles away. Who needs National Geographic?

Good choice for JAWS 4. You wouldn't think they could top the very bad and awful quality of JAWS 3-D [w/the worst acting and photography of any in the Jaws "series"], but JAWS 4 was a champ, and a new low in bad film-making [guessing Michael Caine really needed the money]. Hey, I wonder if the screenwriters were on "strike" when that movie was being developed!
A few months back, I mentioned buying ($19 on Amazon) a Canadian 3-disc SpEd of the French movie BROTHERHOOD OF THE WOLF [English translation]. The movie was widely praised (from fans, and maybe a few critics), but I thought it was just a "turkey", and soon sold the DVD set back (on Amazon) for almost the same amount of the purchase.
IMO, the "Brotherhood" movie's DTS soundtrack is a joke, with unnatural and lame surround elements during the "action" scenes, a poorly-designed creature [letdown], and some very boring dialogue among the actors. The longer time of the "director's cut" didn't help at all, and simply prolonged the agony. Some compared this movie to THE MATRIX (and the UNDERWORLD series), but the production's quality (and acting/story/action) is nowhere near the level of those polished films [note: I think the 2nd Underworld film is better than the first]. My 2 cents.
