No! I hate Front Page. Notepad is the way to go!
If you use an editor you can't very well call yourself a web programmer, now can you?
As for the look, if you can't see it there's no use explaining.

Ah a true site designer. I used to make my sites using Notepad as well but this was years ago so I know a lot has changed since then. I remember writing the code and my friend was like what are you doing? :p He was designing web sites back then also but he was using software to do it. If people knew how easy it actually is to do writing the code they would probably do it that way. Its cleaner and it works so smoothly.

The code way is easier and with code designers you get in DreamWeaver and Visual Studio 2005 it makes it even easier. Of course, I work with developers that want to use design view so they can drag and drop controls. Yeah, developers that want to take short cuts away from any code... Go figure?
I too, along with many web designers, hate Front Page! And Microsoft isn't tricking me by renaming it Expessions Web.

I'm gonna' have to go with NO on it looking too Microsoft. It looks more DVDTOWN than anything else! LOL
Besides, the home page info thingy is all in Flash, which is MS nemesis. If it was MS that piece would have been done in their new Flash competitor, Silverlight.
