"Purple Violets" is the first feature film being released via the internet only.
iTunes exclusively distributes the film for $12.99 as a 1.15GB download in wide screen format
In combination with the existing iTunes short film database, i tunes is now slowly becoming a prime distribution tool for the indie filmmaker.

Purple Violets: Directed by Edward Burns

Starring:
Selma Blair, Patrick Wilson, Edward Burns.

Talking about poor cinematic experiences and small screens, the DIE HARD 4.0, 2 disc special edition will include a file version of the movie on one of the disc encoded/compressed in 480p. The file will be only playable on Windows Based machines and it's aimed at portable players. Which to me sounds kinda stupid cause the DRM type is WMV based and a 75% share of the portable player market is owned by the apple iPod. I Guess they skipped the whole "market research" thingie.
