The 'American Psycho' star has reportedly signed up to play John Connor, the saviour of the human race, in 'Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins'.

The fourth instalment of the 'Terminator' series is being helmed by 'Charlie's Angels' director McG and is due to start filming early next year.

McG hopes the movie will be the first of a new 'Terminator' trilogy set in the future, telling the story of the war between humans and the Skynet robots.

I think Christian Bale is a future Daniel Day Lewis. Similar to Lewis he immerses himself so much into a movie role that he becomes the portrayed character long after the movie is over. The only difference is Lewis seems to disappear and fall off the radar after playing a part. Maybe because of the role immersion he needs time to come back to the world of reality. Bale doesn't seem to do that, at least not yet.

anyhow, this Bale dude is cool, I always though he wasent in enough movies all these years. atleast known ones. his out of control now.. his

McG (Joseph McGinty Nichol) is a producer, writer, and director (both of the Charlie's Angels movies). His last major film, We Are Marshall [Blu-ray] » was outstanding! The HD DVD and Blu-ray is well-done, including the bonus features.
