I have a Toshiba HD-A2 and a Playstation 3 so I'm pretty happy that now no matter which format wins (if either win).....I have both. AND it was cheaper than that supposed piece of crap LG player. The only b***h of it all is that the movies are still a paycheck and a half!!! LOWER THE PRICE ON THE MOVIES THEMSELVES!!! I wanna take advantage of the HD!

Wow. I thought they were still trying to get to 500,000 HD DVD players sold LOL. Looks like they're selling like crazy now.

This past black-friday weekend was a good weekend for HD-DVD. I myself picked up a couple movies in support.

this black friday i picked up 6 on BTGO. and an additional player i wanted (a3) then ordered one for my cousin that was about to buy an upscaling player. then clicked on the link again hrs later to send to two other friends of mine, and the low deal was gone. i believe im still gonna order a few more, 179$ with 7 movies is still pretty good for them

I agree: LOWER THE PRICES ON THE HD DVD AND BLU-RAY MOVIES and we will change to your format(s)...

Well for me, it was a realistic wider use of the consoles, and I'd feel safer buying the movies. I already owned the XBOX HD-DVD add-on, but when the HD-A2 went to $98 I grabbed 4... One for me, and 3 for friends.

This increased the user base of the players, and made me feel safer about buying movies... So I have.
