Ok hear me out on this one LOL. So I sat down tonight to watch Shrek The Halls with my 8 year old daughter ( ok I know I wanted to watch even if she did not) And I realized that ABC is now married to Disney. I said to myself, hey self look at ABC/Disney showing Shrek's Christmas special. How I look at this revelation is this, if they are willing to show Dreamworks on ABC then they may jump over to HD DVD this year. Ok I know that sounds like I had way to much time on my hands, but it does make sense if you really think about it. And by the way, Shrek The Halls was pretty damned funny.

I think you're stretching this one. The fact is, most Hollywood studios are in bed with one another. Just look at WB, DreamWorks, and Paramount collaborating on "Flags of Our Fathers" and "Letters from Iwo Jima." Then note that in parts of Europe these films were distributed by Fox-Warner. It's a goofy business, and they're all in it to make money. If that means working together, so be it.
