One of the Disc production plants that Paramount/DreamWorks uses, started to produce Blu-ray discs. They can't say what they are printing but someone on the inside told me that look for an announcement on or around May 1st 2008 with release dates set for August 2008.
some one told me you like me and im not telling everyone out there.

I heard this rumor about a month ago that Universal and Paramount were "looking" at Blu Ray authoring houses, guess that rumor turned out to be correct. That will bring the final 2 into the fold and end the war for good, I guess.
Again, nothing I am stating here is fact, only rumors. HDDVD may still have a chance, and I think it is NOT a bad format.

I haven't heard anything about Universal. The inside word is that there will be an announcement by "another studio" around May 1st with major release dates in August. I can't say who, I can only say Paramount is printing. Which makes perfect sense because they must have gone gold last month when the rumors started circulating.

Hey JJ, if you remember in the Santa Claus movies, the Tooth Fairy was a dude. LOL
And yes it is childish that we have certain people posting these rediculous threads.

I'm afraid I've never seen the Santa Clause movies.
Ya know, I sometimes think if we put the energy and effort devoted to shiny little discs into something productive (like hunger, poverty, war, disease...), we'd be in such a better place.
Heck, if we stopped with the insults back and forth, the format "war" would be in a better place, too.

Like I said before there RICHARD, that Best Buy story is garbage. They have supported SONY and Blu Ray from the first day they jumped into this war. They are just now coming out and saying that they will openly support them now. Yea like they are not going to carry any HD DVD products. So they might as well stop selling the dual players and anything made by Toshiba then.
Or maybe I will just start a thread that says hey I heard that WB is reconsidering there deal with Blu Ray and going neutral again. But I won't because that is pure horse scat!!!!

IB,
You are right. The salesmen in Best Buy & Circuit were already promoting Blu-Ray, long before Best Buy's announcement. The ISS on that story was on my post on HD-DVD.com. BestBuy is phasing out HD-DVD. They say that they'll still offerer them but they won't order any of the back catalog. By the 3rd week in March you won't see any HD-DVD's at the locations. This coinsides with the Warner dates. The ISS on that is, Amazon might be buying BestBuy's overstock at a discount.

What web site said that BB is phasing out their stock of HD DVD movies? Thats funny, when all of you Blu Ray guys were posting the rediculous threads a few weeks ago about this same thing. I checked with my local BB, CC, Sears and Wal Mart. None of them said they were dropping HD DVD. As long as there making money, and they are, they will continue to sale HD DVD products.
Look I do not care if you WOOP it up over Blu Ray, but you got to stop posting these un- true threads. Remember, Paramount and Universal have contracts through march 2009 and thats pure fact. And don't start with they have a hitch claus to get out of their contract. Because that was proven flase about a month ago.
