So, for I have a question about the trilogy, now that they are all out. Would especially like a response from those who are somewhat experts on the director, producer, companies who made them and put them on DVD.
Do you think they will ever come out together in one package
:
Also, what do you think about the basic DVD, compared to the 2-disc sets
: IE, is it really worth paying that much more for it, when the extras might only be watched once or twice. Any and all opinions would be appreciated on this second question.

Of course they will come out in a box set. But not until you have had a chance to buy them individually already.
I thought it was refreshing that Harry Potter was a box set right away.

I had already 1 & 2 (and yes, it says 2 and 3 on the DVDs), and I read that the extras weren't that much, but heck, it's one of the greatest popcorn film ever! I bought the 2-disc on Best Buy and they had that extra DVD with 45 minutes of extras that came free when you purchased the movie.
I do wished they had done a special edition with all three with newly created special features and audio commentary by producer and director and another one with actors, in a treasure chest...that, would've been nice!!!

I would be shocked if there wasn't a Pirates box set later this year on standard definition. I just have my doubts it would be on BD.
