STARDUST rocked! I've seen it on my HD DVD several times. So different from other movies even of its kind.

Of course, I'm famous. On the Internet if more than three people know your name, you're famous.

I live about an hour from Skywalker Ranch, and I've visited the place several times: A few years back for a "Star Wars" event and again last fall at the invitation of an old student and good friend, Matt Chesse, who was editing "The Kite Runner" there at the time. He showed my wife and me around, and we spent the day.

Skywalker is an actual working ranch, believe it or not. You'll find horses and cows everywhere. In fact, the Technical Building, which houses the editing studios, music-recording studios, several full-sized theaters, and such, itself looks a lot like a big barn. All of the buildings are made to blend in with the grassy hills and wooded landscape, and you can't really see any other building from the one you're in. It's quite a classy affair, housing some of the most sophistated recording and editing facilities in the world.

That is cool John ...VERY COOL! I have seen many pictures of the place, and it looks beautiful. What I meant by "THE BARN" though is the place where they store all of the original Star Wars props. I was under the impression that these were on the premise?

I dunno. Never saw such a building, but it might be around somewhere. In the main house, there are glass cabinets in the walls displaying various "Star Wars" memorabilia like the original "SW" light sabers and the models for the Imperial Walkers and Darth Vader's helmet, etc. There's also a gift shop on the premises where I bought a half-scale (or so) miniature Anakin Skywalker light saber on a little display stand. Lucas never misses a bet. The gift shop is there for his fellow filmmakers to buy stuff. Everyone is impressed by the place and wants to bring back a souvenir.

Huh? You were at Skywalker Ranch and you never asked about.."THE BARN'? OK then..i have a "plan"..and it is going to work out just perfect..because John..has never asked about "THE BARN."

Here goes. OK fellow Star Wars fans, we are going to use John to break into "The BARN", snatch the props, and make our own GOSH DARN Star Wars movie!!! Are ya feeling me here. Ok. John, you rent a van and pick us up (no name mentioning here!) ok..you rent a van, pick us up and when we get through the gate, you let us off by the third fig tree. I will bring all the GPS devices and tools we need fellas to accomplish our goals, don't you fret about that.(However you may want to bring your own snacks). As John is inside NOT asking about "THE BARN"...hence distracting, we shall make our move. We will find "THE BARN", use the force to get inside, and take what we need to make the BEST GOSH DARN Star Wars movie ever made!!!

Lucas OWES us!

Actually, I think the Archives Building is off limits to everyone who doesn't have a top-level government security clearance. You know, like the President of the United States or something. Lucas probably has trouble getting in. But I understand practically everything is stored there, including the Ark of the Covenant.
