What about duty?

I have a question for Canadians. If you order from Amazon.com, do you have to pay duty/taxes? Or only if it's a certain amount?

hoodaguy, it might be a certain amount. I've paid taxes on things over $300 that I've ordered from abroad. But I've never been charged duty or taxes on anything from Amazon.com. Granted, my individual orders haven't been over $100. I'm not sure if there's an actual set limit or what it could be for USPS/Canada Post orders.

Now even if you have a $20 item shipped to Canada by UPS from the USA, be prepared to abandon your package with them instead of paying their brokerage, duty, and taxes charge that can easily double this original price or more. Anyone who ships UPS from the States doesn't get Canadian business. Simple as that.

looks like amazon modified the BOGO alittle. and re added some movies that the previously removed. Fearless and the mummy, among others.

first i got Jarhead and Serenity.
then above. Fearless and the mummy. hey it was under 3 bucks!

im re-watching some of the movies on that list right now, so i might order two more. lol!

Pretty good selection there man.

The Mail Woman left me 3 of my 4 HD-DVD's. Now I just need to get Serenity.
