The Face Of Blu!

Seriously, we have what? 3-4 vocal Blu supporters here that actually make intelligent posts most of the time and occassional rabble that just spews Blu colored garbage. Much like the entirety of bluray.com, who don't attack the format as much as the people who support it, which I find disgusting on a personal level. I'm sure there are HD-DVD people out there who do the same, but not nearly as much, and typically its an attack on the format not the owners of it. I DO think this is related to the fact that a lot of Blu supporters are also Sony/Playstation fanboys, typically younger, and as such, also immature. I would bet that owners of standalone players are much less likely to engage in such childish behavior.

You hit the nail right on the head. That's why I back off of most of these heated discussions. It's not worth the time or energy.

And the exact same goes for HDDVD fans as well. I own a PS3 and I have more movies than games. I got the PS3 for movies and because it was the best player on the market. True, the majority of PS3 owners are gamers and that would put me in the minority. Kucoloco plays video games, does that constitute him as being childish, NO.

He and I go back and forth on issues sometimes they get passionate but that's because we defend our format choices. When I posted about a game it was when I told Kucoloco that I could beat him in Mortal Kombat and we were joking, everything else was about how great of a Blu ray player the PS3 is. Alot of HDDVD supporters even said that the PS3 is the best Blu ray player on the market and recommended it for anyone looking to buy a Blu ray player. You would be suprized how many people have hi end HT's and use the PS3 as a Blu ray player so your point that PS3 owners are childish is.....I don't even have a word for it, but it seems childish to attack everyone that has one, when some of use use it as a player.

Again with the immature name calling. How old are you guys?
This is getting too easy.
Every problem I wrote comes from Amazon - FROM PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT HD DVD PLAYERS.

Read for yourselves.

Toshiba HD-A35 1080p HD DVD Player

By D. Seeley (Arlington, Texas USA) - the player froze for approximately 1 second about half way through the movie.

This is me watching you guys make fools of yourselves.

Tony i play games now, as my buddies early this year convinced me since they all had 360s. Im more of a movie fanatic. i used to primarily play games, but thats when i was in high school 8 years ago. more recently I mostly played FPShooters, and had no problem playing those on my pc until the 360 arrived.

I just never though i would like the 360 so much. I inicially decided to check out HD addon because it was so cheap with tons of free movies, and i could use it on the PC aswell. now im 50 movies deep and several players into it.

All,

HD DVD is by far the better of the two formats. The Blu guys just have a strong studio support.

The question should be why!

I use my PS3 for viewing Blu Ray, and my A-2 for HD DVD. I love HD but Blu is moving more software, this is the key that will lock one formats door.

I hope to see both formats push on for years to come. We win by the low price, However the key players can not keep giving away the house.
