Welcome to the so-so world of hi-def content! I've complained about this situation repeatedly since last year, as most HD releases either lack the bonuses of the SD counterparts, or do not include all of the material previously released, and/or cannot get the rights yet (from Criterion etc) so as to include.

Warner's titles are the best with extras, followed by Sony, Universal and Disney. However, Lionsgate and Fox are the absolute worst, and Fox has the gall to make their HD content available [Blu-ray only] at the highest price!

I'm pretty sure I saw the R4 being a two-disc edition. But couldn't double-dip, already got the regular one.

I agree. The catalog for one format will suddenly look a lot more appealing to me.
