Rocky Complete Saga

I'm in the market for the new Rocky set and I can't find any details on extras within the set. Are there any features at all or just the movies themselves?

The Rocky movies are really a complete mess when it comes to the Extras. I assume you're looking for them on DVD. There is not complete set that I know off 1-6. There is a set that is 1-5 but those are only barebones releases.

There was a rerelease of the original on a 2 disc set with remastered picture. This is where you'll find all your extras. 2-5 are barebones releases with only the trailer. Rocky Balboa (6) has extras on it but isn't offered in any complete set.

The good news is you can usually find 2-5 for less then 5 dollars and Rocky Balboa I've seen as low as 8 dollars recently. It's actually cheaper to buy them individually then pick up the whole set and you'll get all the extras too.

Edit: sorry didn't see you said new set. I'd double check to see if it's the Rocky rerelease. They never rerelease 2-5.

I currently own all 6 movies. I have 1-5 in the red 25th anniversary box and Rocky Balboa by itself. Rocky has a few extras and 2-5 have, like you said, just remastered picture. Now that I think about it, 2-5 only have Mono tracks and the trailers. I like the look of the new set and it's thinner than what I have. I just don't want to sacrifice the extras that I do have.

If you search "rocky" in DVDTown and select the film collections you should be able to see the box. It's pretty nice.......
