Okay, well thanks... I'll stop by a Best Buy later this week and check them both out. I live in a house, but I have all my stuff in my room, not in the living room (my parents are still happy with DVD and even VHS!?!) So, it's a small room. What's better for a small space? I didnt really understand which was better when you asked where I lived.

Vertigo frommy understanding it will pass audio through the HDMI because of this "Multiple built-in surround sound decoders include Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II and DTS".
The only thing is any hidef audio would be downconverted to DTS. I may be wrong so I'm hoping someone corrects me if I am.

I thought so too, but I checked out the reviews on the BB site and most customers mentioned that the bad thing about it was that the audio did not pass through HDMI and they had to use optical audio cables for sound. What's the point of passing video through to the receiver and then your TV?

Vertigo that Klipsch system will be serious overkill for a bedroom. You also have to factor in that the Klipsch package along with the Onkyo receiver is more than double the money of that Yamaha system you linked. For a bedroom I would say the Yamaha system is more than enough but again hear them yourself. I'm sure you'll drive everyone in the house crazy with that system 
However if you can afford it the Klipsch system (with Onkyo receiver) You will enjoy them with hidef audio for many years to come. All depends on affordability and how long you're going to stay in your current living situation I guess. Still, the Yamaha system should be a big improvement over TV speakers.
