"Supposedly Warner will have to take some time to release the Blu Ray edition, as it needs some re-mastering to look right on Blu Ray." --VideoCipher

Actually, I don't think the movie itself will need any "re-mastering." When WB made the HD DVD edition, they undoubtedly made VC-1 encodes that will work perfectly well for Blu-ray transfers. That's what they have been doing all along with their dual-format releases. They have been using exactly the same HD masters for both formats. However, it might take them some time to incorporate the bonus materials on the disc, particularly the "In-Movie Experience," which utilizes picture-in-picture, a feature BD has just added.

Well I don't have a repaired PS3 console just yet.

My kids are really PO'd that their most desired Christmas Present, a Sony PS3, quit working after slightly more than 1 month of use.

Sony's 3-5 day time frame for the receipt of their shipping "coffin" is now heading into 2 weeks, of which they say will take 2 more weeks to process, and another week to receive the repaired/refurbished unit back.

I am really asking myself why I wasted $499 on a POS game console.

Don't get me wrong, the M$ XBOX360 would have likely been just as bad of a choice.

What really irk's me, is that they refuse to do an advance exchange, where I put up another $499 on a credit card, and they ship a new/refurbished unit immediately, and credit me back after they receive the defective PS3.

My intent was to make the PS3 a game console, but also a primary Blu Ray player.

Now it has failed as both, and at this point, I would rather return the PS3 for credit, and spend the money better elsewhere.

But I still stay calm, and sit and wait......

It absolutely sucks about the wait Sony wants to do it's return plan, and the problem must be more common than thought, or they would not have delays like this....

I have the Ultimate Collection on HD-DVD... Best money I ever spent, and I use to show off the HD-DVD player.

I don't think I'd want the collection. I like the first Matrix as a stand alone film, but then they destroyed any credibility by making "Reloaded" and "Revolutions". "Reloaded" being the better of the last two, but nothing more than an average, action sci-fi. What really sucked is they took the whole story down the sewer! I really felt the finalization of the story fell flat and nowhere near the inspiration of the first movie.
