I love the PS3 because I can watch all of my Paramount and Universal Blu Ray movies. (And the last shot was a hard shot to the body)

DUAL SHOCK 3
All new releases that support rumble will now have a DS3 compatible icon on them, according to the blog. Playstation is also a page on the official Playstation website dedicated to games with force feedback support.
lol... watch for the DS3 icon...... and on the blu players. the profile icon lol hahhaha

FYI... another PS3 new feature!
> Sony quietly introduces YouTube Uploading capability from the PS3...
Mainichi Issho, a Japan-only PlayStation Network game that's been out since 2006, has quietly brought a pretty killer function to the PlayStation 3. Players can now record gameplay and upload clips to YouTube from within the console. Better still, Sony has confirmed that the toolset will be distributed to developers to integrate into games at their discretion. With the popularity of fan videos and YouTube, it's great to see Sony embracing networks outside of their own. Good stuff, and forward-thinking on Sony's part.

FYI...

> BioShock is headed to the PS3 - is exclusivity dying?
This is great news for the Sony console, as BioShock was originally an exclusive for the Xbox 360 and PC. - READ MORE thru the link above, followed by viewer comments.

So, the format war is over and you guys need something to fight over! Of all things . . . game consoles!? It really seems quite pointless since game consoles have been in direct competition for close to three-decades. It isn't like any one console is in danger of knocking out another one over night, so it really is silly to fight over which one you think is better than the next. Everyone has their favorite for one reason or another (personally, I prefer PC MMO online gaming), so, for the love of Pete . . . let it go already!

Well dudes...I got a 40GB PS3 last night (came with Spiderman 3) and I gotta say I LOVE it. I set it up and had it going in 5 minutes. I bought a 500GB external drive that will be connected to it and store all videos and pics. I updated it to version 2.35 which is the latest firmware version. I checked out some pics via a USB key, watched Spiderman 3 on bluray which looked good.
I gotta say the PS3 is so much more than a game console or a bluray player. This thing really is an all-in-one media centre. I was able to get on the internet through the built in wi-fi easily too.
I have a question though. I went to apple.com/trailers and tried watching some hidef players. I got the prompt on the screen that would say "Do you want to install the plugin?" and I clicked Yes...waited...and waited but nothing happened. I was not able to watch any of the trailers which tells me either the plugin never installed or it just can't play the videos. If any of you know how to get this to work I would love it cause I like being able to watch the trailers in hidef on my big screen.
Thanks in advance gents.
New PS3 lover.

P.S. I'm an amazon.com now and checking the bluray section for deals. It still feels dirty :p
Kinda like a Toronto Maple Leaf playing for the Montreal Canadiens, a New York Yankee playing for the Boston Red Sox, etc. You get the idea I'm sure. I'll get used to it.

All the trailers on Apple.com require the quicktime plugin for the browser you are using.
