I clicked Yes to install the plugin but nothing happened. I was hoping someone here got it to work without having to convert the trailer on a computer (I'm not going to waste my time with that). I hope I can just watch the trailer straight off Apples site through the PS3 browser, that would be sweet.

Kinda like a Toronto Maple Leaf playing for the Montreal Canadiens, a New York Yankee playing for the Boston Red Sox, etc.
Falcon, no offence but you buying a PS3 is like Gerber of the Sens playing for the Leafs this coming season. It isn't right.
And the worst thing is that you've warmed up to this thing a lot quicker than I did. It took me at least a couple weeks to warm up to the idea of using a console as a Blu-ray player, but then again I've never owned a game console before.
BTW, I don't believe Apple has a Quicktime plugin for the PS3 console's OS as yet, so I think you're out of luck there. My goal is to get a bigger drive, get the BlueTooth keyboard, and install a Linux partition so that I can run Firefox (among 1,000 other programs) instead of that freaky browser the PS3 has.
One thing you should try is turning your PC (if you have it on a wired or Wifi network) into a media server for your PS3. You can do it through WMP or TVersity, and with TVersity you can do the Quicktime stuff, but you'll need to enter the links for what you want to watch on your PC. It's probably too much trouble IMO. But at least I do have my entire CD collection available through my PS3 from my computers, and also lots of home video and all my photos.

LOL. No offense taken. Thanks for the info. I'll try the TVersity thing tonight. Is this a program I download from my PC and install on my PC as well or do I need to install something on the PS3?
EDIT: I found the site and I'm reading all about it. This thing works on the XOBX 360 too.
NEW! Full support for Xbox 360 2007 fall update and for Sony PS3 firmware 2.1!

Just now got the chance to browse the Playstation Network, its pretty good. Probably the coolest thing is the downloadable PS1 games to play on your psp. Im in for Hot Shots Golf 2.

Falcon, I'm sorry I did'nt have time to congrat you on your PS3 purchase, you're gonna love it. I was in the hospital for a week. If you have any questions about your system I hope that Skyhawk or Hendrix was able to help you.

I had an acute RA attack in all of my joints, I could'nt walk until Monday. PAINFULL AS HELL. But I'm about 70% now. If you like to play games rent Uncharted: Drakes Fortune. You're gonna love it, eventhough I know you want SOCOM. Maybe I'll get it as well and we can both play online?

For sure!. My bro and I are dying for Socom. I know we'll both get it and be online on the first day :p
BTW I love the wi-fi feature of the PS3. Works very well.
Glad you're feelin' better man. Hopefully that doesn't happen to you again. Get some rest and enjoy some movies and online gaming
That should bring the spirits back up.

You being in the hospital must be why you didn't respond to my PS3 menu problem post. I hope you're feeling better, Tone. I'm glad to hear you are out.
