Would love to see this on HD DVD, but is this effected by what I like to call The Spielberg Rule????

It is not known with certainty how much power he have over his Universal movies but I'm sure the studio will not release anything he does not approve off.
However, watching "Close Encounters" on Blu-ray sure makes you wish he would approve more of his movies for release in HD.
On that note it is worth mentioning that it took five years before E.T. was released on regular DVD.

Apparently Spielberg hates making money... so instead he'll rather wait around for Blu-Ray to either win or fall before he releases anything from studios that are HD exclusive.
