A few things missing here as well:

1. Total sales since launch.
XBOX 360: 17.7 Million
PS3: Estimated 9 million (Hope to meet 11 million by March) (Many sold in Japan which generally is giving the 360 a hard time because it is from the US)

2. Game Sales.
PS3 has no really great games going for it and in the end that is what will matter. In the top 10 (all platforms) of December XBOX 360 had 4 titles (Including the no. 1 spot). The PS3 had 0. In 2007 (whole year) top 10 XBOX 360 had 3 titles in top 10 (Including the no. 1 spot.) The PS3 had 0.

Everything that I have read, indicated that the Sony Gaming systems have not passed the XBOX? Maybe I can see in the month of december the PS3 console coming close, but not dominating it?

They the sony fan boys talk about HD DVD not having software so therefore loosing. Now how about sony not having any games . Are they loosing? is this too much of a loss?

Hey Kris, correct me if I am wrong. Gears of War was developed by Epic Games and Microsoft Game Studios. Why would Microsoft let such highly valued game franchise go to Sony?

I dunno why we even bother caring what Japan does. They will NEVER buy a US-manufactured console. Unlike us, the are loyal to their country's brands far before foreign ones. No matter how badly PS3 flops here (and I think it'll perform better in the coming months) it'll succeed there enough to survive this console generation.

I have both systems,

theres a few other things of the ps3 i dont like, even thou theres a few i do. besides games

I guess this must be the very early early stage of the ps3 with sony. The ps3 for now is a BLU-RAY player and a tiny bit game system.

Thats not even really a glowing endorsement for the PS3. The Xbox 360 only recently broke 500,000 in Japan. Its doing terrible in Japan and in most parts of Europe excluding the UK, and yet the PS3 only outsold it worldwide by , what was it? Less than 100,000? I forgot the numbers before I posted but it was very close.

Also to the guy who hasnt gotten his 360 repaired, why? You say you have had a "bad experience with repairs/warranties" but that doesnt even make sense. You have a FREE 3 year warranty that started in April 2007. That means you can get it repaired or replaced for free. There is absolutely no reason not to do it. You don't even have to pay for shipping. So no offense, but I don't believe that you have owned a 360 because what you're saying just does not add up.

I'm conflicted, I'm a HD DVD supporter but don't like Microsoft ...
