I think the first movie that I saw him in was A Knight's Tale. I liked him in The Brothers Grimm with Matt Damon, but I never really got into Broke Back Mountain.

I hope there are still a Knight's Tale dvds on wal-mart's $5 dvd bin...

I had a lot of respect for him.

He started out as a by-product of the Hollywood hype machine. The executives saw a face they wanted to market and manufactured a star by putting his face in magazines.

He said when he did A Knight's Tale that he didn't even know how to act. Rather than going with the flow he made the choice to legitimize himself only a few years later.

WOW, that stinks, whole career ahead of him

Very sad for his family, especially for Michelle Williams & their daughter.

R.I.P Heath Ledger my prayers go out to his two year old daughter. I know from personal experience it isn't easy growing up without a father. My Heart goes out to her.

Here's hoping everyone reserves judgement on what happened until the autopsy comes back.

this is just aweful, i feel sad for his young daugther, she wont get to know her father. He was a good young actor who seemed to take his career serious. This is just horrilbe. rip Heath ledger

Hey Xavier, check the archives, I posted a thread before Christmas and I said he in fact looked like The Crow. But it is another tragic death of a young holywood actor with so much ahead of him.
