Forum suggestion

any chance of upgrading the forums to show who was the last person who posted. Would save me the time of having to re-open threads in case there is no reply.

I think the closest thing we have is the star (or asterisk) next to threads that a reader hasn't clicked on yet (since his last site visit). If it's your own thread, and it's got a star by it, I suppose it's safe to say that somebody has posted something there since the last time you visited the site.

It's not exactly what you'd like, but maybe you contact the editor directly about the suggestion.

How about showing every thread that you have posted in when you access your profile?

That would be cool TOny... would save me a lot of headaches when trying to keep up with the discussions.

Any chance that we'll get the option to 'ignore' certain members by not seeing their posts? That would help cut down on the flaming and make the site more attractive to those not wishing to read material from those they have a problem with.

Also an easy way to report offensive posts would be nice and it would also cut down on flame posts.

Yeah, Hennings forums are a little behind the times, and god knows I've given him a rash of crap for it, therefore I don't blame him for not liking me much. Nevertheless, what makes the DVDTOWN forums fun are the great people, so I'm willing to deal with the lack of cool, new features. On the bright side, at least we can all post pictures now!
