I just checked the Amazon stats, and wow... BBC must be happy. Has "Planet Earth" ever gone off the top 10 titles of either format? http://charts.highdefdigest.com/rank.aspx

I have it on HD DVD, Skyhawk. There's no doubt, it is spectacular.

I have it on HD DVD too. I'm starting to wonder if anyone who has either format doesn't eventually buy Planet Earth. It's nice to see BBC successful with it. I own "Walking with Dinosaurs" series on standard DVD too. Hopefully they'll use this success to create more great projects.

I recently purchased (but haven't watched yet) the Blu-ray edition of the BBC's GALAPAGOS - in one of those recent Amazon BOGO sales (late Dec). Note: it's also available on HD-DVD too. Looks like another interesting program.

I picked up Galapogos on HD-DVD, during a BOGO at Best Buy. Very good, not quite as mindblowing as Planet Earth was but great PQ. I actually found it in someways more interesting then Planet Earth as it only dealt with one area and the information could get more in Depth.
