With the exception of the aerial fly by, that looked more like a videogame loop... the whole premise of LOCKIN' UP A SCIENTIST & TRUSTING HIM TO BUILD A WEAPON, UNATTENDED (INSIDE A ROOM)... BUT ONLY TO REALIZE HE BUILDS AN ARMOR TO FREE HIMSELF.... is downright STUPID.

I'm just judging the trailer. Who knows HOW BAD MARVEL SCREWS UP THE ACTUAL FILM.

If they follow the comic it will make sense. Stark gets hit with some shrapnel that lands near to his heart. He's dying the terrorist basically blackmail him by withholding medical treatment. They assume his desire to live, since he's a arrogant playboy will force him to build them a bomb. They never figure he'll actually have the guts to do something else.

"Who cares about Iron Man???" :

Woah.....are you kidding me? Iron Man will be one of the biggest releases of the year. Not to mention they have a highly awaited video game release to coincide with the movie.

At least in my area, my co-workers and I can not wait for the release.

BTW this will make a great HD DVD title to my collection

It also should be out on Blu Ray before to long, when the company is forced to release it on the format that has a more penetrated core or consumers (like 83% with BR). I mean they have to see SOME type of profit. It's only a matter of time my friends, only a matter of time. The clock is ticking. *tic* *toc* tic* *toc* Also cant wait to see Hellboy 2 on BR, that will rock. My prediction, we will know a hell of a lot more in May, so at least you guys have that time to make your pro HDDVD posts and jump all over people who like BR, and post lame rants and supposed information that is true.

Sales figures don't lie, and look at the market, the battle is over, sorry for you, but just think you have a GREAT upconverting DVD player now!!!! (even though the OPPO is WAY better and cheaper) Plus you have a back log of films to watch forever, nobody can take that away. You live and you learn! Good Luck, and goodnight!!!

Oh dear lord! This whole format shilling thing has got to stop!

SuperJoinT? Joined in January of 2008? A thread about an upcoming movie turns to Blu-Ray propaganda?

This really sucks. I used to post here all of the time, but it's getting ridiculous with the whole HD-DVD vs. Blu-Ray thing. This thread was supposed to be about Iron Man, an upcoming theatrical release, of which I hold somewhat high hopes, but my will to post regarding it is deflated due to the out of control trolling and shilling that is running rampant in these forums these days.

Sometimes I wish that technology hadn't advanced so we could talk about something different for a change, but for now I guess I have to slog through the pie charts, new sales numbers, and he said/she said crap to find even a nugget of film discussion around here anymore.
