Hello, just wanted to share with some that might be considering a new tv. I recenty decided to purchase a Sharp Aquos LC42D64U 42" 1080p LCD HDTV, online, due to a little better pricing ofcorse. But just realized Best buy has an offer currently, for a free bluray player with purchase, the Sharp BD-HP20U. and also an offer for three free discs, that i dont think they let you pick, but still is free. Added to that, i can user a triple points coupon for rewards, and get about $100 back in rewards.
The price of some of the tvs at BB are onsale, not too far apart form the mazon prices. "for some". That blu disc player is 1.0 if im right. correct? Either way, they go for a good amount on ebay, specially new.

The Sharp is only 1.0 correct. They're selling for about 300 dollars on Ebay 200 less then regular price. However if you're getting it free it's all profit. The problem is Ebay has been flooded with them since they started this promotion and it's driving the price down.

The new Toshiba 46' LCD Regza. 46RF350 Full 1080p, now that's a TV! It's sexy look, and picture are amazing!!! I think you can score it for arount a $1500. If you have connections. If not I think I've seen it as low as $1700.

I wouldn't care about the player in this case. If I was looking for the TV, I would be more concerned with tv not so much the player. But, I believe BB and Visions in Canada are offering a free HD DVD player if you pay full price, or the bundled price. The point I'm trying to make is that the TV I mentioned is one of the better displays out there... The Sharp is good, but there are nicer sets out there for the money.

The onyl reason I mentioned it was because it has the same frame that 40 or 42" would. Get a 46 for the same cabinet as a 42"!!!

TVs are getting better and better. I returned a minute ago from my bi-monthly trip to Fry's Electronics and Best Buy, where television picture quality is beginning to all look alike to me. It's a darned good thing I'm not in the market for a new set, because they're getting too close to call.
