I grew up on 70's martial arts movies. I was looking at Amazon's list and though they had a few the list was not complete. I would love to see a few in HD. Here are my favorites:

1. Master Killer (aka The 36th Chamber)
2. The Five Deadly Venoms
3. Fist of Fury
4. Enter the Dragon
5. Five Brothers of Shaolin
6. The Chinese Connection
7. Game of Death
8. Five Fingers of Death
9. The Buhddhist Fist
10. Shaolin vs Wu Tang (80's release)

Does anyone know here I can order some good MA movies on DVD?

Tony have you seen the Bruce Lee Master Collection?

It's a five disc collection with Fists of Fury, The Chinese Connection, Return of the Dragon, Game of Death and Bruce Lee: The Legend.

Falcon, Where can I get it from, Bruce Lee was my favorite MA actor and still is. That's why I'm going to start my MA collection with him. I have several on VHS and it would be easy to transfer them to disk but I think I would like a clean DVD version because some of my movies were food for my VHS machine and....well you know how the PQ suffers after a tape gets chewed.

Dude seriously find a way to contact me with a mailing address and I'll send it to you. I have 2 copies (don't ask ) and you can have one. Don't worry I don't want anything for it just tell me where to send it.

Thanks for bringing this subject up Tony.

Two of my favorite low-budget 'bad' martial arts films are these -

KILL OR BE KILLED (1980)
and
KILL AND KILL AGAIN (1981)

...starring JAMES RYAN. The movies have never been properly remastered for DVD, just 'copied' from a poor-quality source, and are both not even available anymore in North America (to my knowledge).

Neither compares to the quality of low-budget MA films from the 1990s on, but Steve Ryan and his gang were appealing to me and other high-school friends (as a teenager), when we went to see each film a few times at our local theater.

If you have a good region-free DVD player, might I suggest:

http://www.hkflix.com/home.asp

I've bought several things from them including my region-free DVD player. Interestingly enough, that player played China's HVD disks, which were high-def movie disks before HD DVD and BluRay hit the scene.
