To me the infamous superbowl ad focused more on the youngsters watching football. They should have adapted something like in the WII commercials, "We Want to Play" our HD-DVD's anywhere we want. Maybe with another guy wanting to play that same disc but in bluray format and having a hard time to find someone else with the bluray player. What a missed opportunity. I think this is it for the Toshiba camp. I don't think they are going to spend that kind of money on another ad. i am so pissed off.

This type of commercial should've been aired for the entire year of 07'. Maybe they got their ads mixed up.

I am an HD DVD fan, but what the hell was Toshiba thinking. I agree with all of you who said that they should have run this spot during the super bowl. I guess the Patriots were'nt the only ones who lost on Sunday.

I'm a die hard HD-DVD supporter but I concur that this ad definitely should've been the ad for the Superbowl as there definitely was more effort put into it and it just plain looks cool and definitely goes better for wow factor. Then again there is the possibility that they might be using this for future TV ads if so then I can live with it.

Considering this ad did not show in all market places, I know it didn't in mine, it seems to be a less than stellar effort to get people interested in the HD DVD format.
Also, given the fact that the website is seriously lacking in appeal...would it hurt to give a synopsis of the movies in the movie listing?
