I got my 37" LCD a couple months ago and it comes with 2 HDMI ports. I also have an Onkoyo (sp?) surrond sound system that i bought 3 years ago. I know that the HDMI cord will carry Sound and Picture from the source (PS3) to the TV, but i want to utilize the Surrond Sound and not the LCD speaker. Am i able to connect the Red and Yellow cords from TV out to the Sound System with while utilizing HDMI? hopefully i explained my problem well. Thanks everyone.

Why not just run HDMI from your PS3 to your TV, and the optical cable from your PS3 to your surround system (assuming your surround system doesn't take HDMI)?
