Is it my imagination or have all the recent past Best Actress winners gone on to some really bad roles or even none at all.
For instance:
-Halle Berry did Die Another Day and soon X-Men 2 after winning.
-Julia Roberts? MIA
-Hillary Swank did Insomnia
-Gwyneth Paltrow did one unforgettable movie after another
-Helen Hunt? Fell off the face of the earth
Hopefully Nicole Kidman won't go down the same road. None of the others seem to care about accepting good roles after winning. Resting on their laurels? And to think I had such high hopes for Mira Sorvino after her Supporting Actress win in '95.

As Good as it Gets, which was a mediocre production despite Jack Nicholson's great perf. Then again, Jack's great in anything.
