i'm missing the whole community aspect that you lost when you changed DVDTOWN to this new format. All the comments were lost after you changed the format, and now there's almost no comments for all the reviews.

Tell us about it. We're as dismayed as anybody. In going from the old site design to this new one, quite a few things didn't port over properly, including the Reader Comments on movies and a whole lot of artwork.

This is not uncommon, however, in complete new designs. Note what has happened to Rotten Tomatoes lately. They completely revampted their site several weeks ago, and they still haven't gotten their DVD review page or the DVD review links to work.

The editor tells me he and the programmers are still doing their best to restore lost material and lost functions. But I guess you just have to take the bad with the good.
