Days of Thunder by Paramount Pictures

Does anyone know if Paramount will ever release Days of Thunder in HD DVD (or for the conspirators, Blu Ray)? It's one of my all time favorites.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.


Along those same line, does anyone know if New Line plans on releasing Life is a House on Blu Ray?

ReggieP I never noticed that in the movie and I've seen it 20+ times. You must have a serious attention to detail when it comes to Tom Cruise.
Just kidding of course.

I figured I'd get harrassed a little since most people here aren't av nerds and a Nascar fan like myself.

Tim - for some reason I picture "Lays of Thunder" having very large girls in it. Not really my thing.

I find this movie fun, it's not incredible or anything, but I love it for a simplistic feel-good movie night. I'm not into the HD/Blu scene, but I'd love a new edition.

Considering it was never rereleased on regular DVD it doesn't seem to be on the Top of their list. I have the only DVD version available and it completely sucks. The Extras consist of the trailer and that's it. It also has a NON-anamorphic widescreen presentation. I will admit the Trailer is worth it just for this hilarious image.
