Im shocked over the ps3 numbers! wow. Cant believe any thing was close to nintendo especailly the ps3. Had to be shortages lol!
i wonder if the Warner annoucement had any effect. Maybe people are thinking the format war is close to a end.

to be fair, MS DID have a shortage. I work in a game store and we didnt have 360s for about 2 weeks, as did almost all of our stores locally. Surely the Blu Effect worked for it, but odds are that evetually the two systems would reach sales parity.

Still has piss all for games thus far.

me and four others friends went out and got ps3 in Jan. im sure alot other did the same. ours were stricly for movies

so good luck to Sony with that.

That's like being shocked that a dude with no legs can't walk. Of course the PS3 is gonna sell more if there are not as many 360 units available. But it still can't keep pace with the Wii and it'll never cathc the DS Lite, but nothing will.

kucoloco, I tend to agree. I bet a significant percentage of these sales had nothing to do with the PS3 being a "game console".

which has always been $ony's plan. They WANT to own your media center as much as M$ does. And yet, neither can't help but make faulty products. Hopefully by the time my PS3 craps out (in about 2 years if tradition holds) stand alones will be up to par with HD-DVD players.
